About the Role

Love modeling but want the stability of a full-time opportunity with benefits? We have a unique opportunity for you to join our talented Design Development team as an In-House Fit Model and Design Administration Assistant.

The individual in this role will participate in both formal and informal modelling/fitting events. While modeling will predominately take place in our home office in Lenexa, KS office, this position could also involve domestic US events. This position also requires international travel to our manufacturing locations in Asia, usually 4 times per calendar year.

Modelling assignments include, but are not limited to, internal review sessions for sampling and technical fits, social and creative content, in-store promotions and other ad hoc marketing materials.

The Design Administration Assistant component of the position will be executed when modelling scheduling is not required. The Design Administrative Assistant will support the day-to-day functions within the Design Development team as needed.

*This position will work onsite Monday through Friday*

Responsibilities

• Model dresses in house as requested for Design Development.
• Aid in the preparation for product review sessions.
• Maintain record of inventory of materials and supplies.
• Assisting with inbound and outbound product.
• Support Design Development team through the design process, i.e.: taking photos and videos of designs, filing them properly in the system.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. College coursework in business or related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years previous experience in modelling.
• Efficient time management and organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and strong computer, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 25-35 pounds on a regular basis, squat, bend and kneel, along with the ability to work on your feet for the majority of the day.
• Experience in fashion industry desirable, but not necessary.
• Must be able to stand in heels for hours at a time when modelling.
• Hair, physical appearance, and hygiene to be maintained to acceptable presentation levels.
• Maintain body shape, tone and measurements within tolerances of Essense of Australia’s standard size 10US. Must be able to maintain these requirements in order to be in this position.
• To fit an Essense Size 10US gown within outlined tolerance:
• • Tolerances that are required to be maintained are:
    • Height: 5’6” – 5’11”
    • Bust: 36“ – 37”
    • Waist: 27.5” – 28.5“
    • Hip: 39”- 40”
