Job summary

KLX Energy Services LLC, a leading provider of wellsite technical solutions, is seeking a Fishing Tool Supervisor for our Pleasanton, TX location. This role supervises on-site operations, coordinates fishing, thru-tubing, and pressure control services to meet client expectations and safety standards.

The successful candidate will have 4–6 years of relevant field experience, strong knowledge of fishing and thru-tubing, and the ability to train and mentor crew on complex operations.

Qualifications

• Education: less than high school; 4–6 years oilfield experience.
• Experience: open-hole and/or cased-hole operations; 4–6 years total.
• Preferred: supervisory experience 1–3 years; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site technical support to crew and client representatives at the well site.
• Plans and coordinates operations using technical expertise for equipment use.
• Advise customer on proper procedures; troubleshoots issues to reduce downtime.
• Ensures compliance with local, state, federal regulations and industry standards.

We are currently seeking a Fishing Tool Supervisor for our Pleasanton, TX location.

PURPOSE:

Participates in the planning, execution, and management of all phases of any Fishing, Thru-Tubing, Reverse Unit, Air Packages, Nitrogen Services, and/ or Pressure Control operations to ensure delivery of services according to client requirements and expectations. Responsible for supervising technical services operations on well site.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Provides technical support to crew and clients at the well site; maintains communication with client well site representative, rig crew, and field support staff; communicates with internal and external clients
• Plans and coordinates operations utilizing technical expertise to determine the need, technique, and use of equipment on a well site
• Advise customer on proper procedures to perform operations and provide instruction; troubleshoots issues on well site to reduce non-productive time; supervises operations on well siteManages storage and inventories of supplies and fixed assets on the rig.
• Ensures work is performed in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations as well as company and industry standards
• Prepares and delivers comprehensive job documentation
• Trains, coaches, and mentors trainees
• Develops expertise on advanced techniques; participates in knowledge sharing
• Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Less than High School Education
• Work Experience: 4-6 years
• Related Experience:
  • Relevant experience in open-hole and/or cased-hole operation
  • Minimum of 2 years’ relevant product line experience
  • High mechanical aptitude
  • Extensive knowledge of Fishing, Thru-Tubing, and related services
  • Extensive knowledge of Motors, Pumps, Compressors and Power Swivels and pressure control relating to a drilling, completion or production operation and related services

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Work Experience: 6-8 years
• Supervisory Experience: 1-3 years
• Related Experience:
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
