Job summary

Lynker is seeking a Data Auditor in Falmouth, MA to join our NOAA-related data quality efforts. The role focuses on reviewing data audits, performing database queries, and assisting with data processing and observer protocols to ensure accurate fisheries information.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Marine Biology or related field, strong SQL skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, and the ability to work onsite at the NOAA facility.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Marine Biology, Fisheries Biology/Management or related field.
• Strong SQL experience and data quality focus.
• Excellent communication for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review data audits and tests for observer and Electronic Monitoring trips.
• Develop and refine data audits and tests to improve accuracy.
• Perform database queries to identify error projects.
• Assist data processing and migration tasks as needed.
• Document changes to observer protocols and train staff.
• Attend DPP and DQT meetings and report findings.
• Provide guidance to new debriefers and data quality staff.
