AIS is looking for a Fisheries Biologist I (Electronic Reporting Support) to support NOAA SEFSC Fisheries Statistics Division (FSD).
The Fisheries Biologist I (Electronic Reporting Support) provides logbook distribution, receipt, data entry, validation, and quality control support for commercial fishermen's logbooks required by the SEFSC for Highly Migratory Species, Coastal Fisheries, and the wreckfish fishery. The position also monitors a permit holder phone line and participates in public outreach activities.
Candidates will be paid an hourly rate to be negotiated, and total compensation will vary depending on candidates' depth of experience. This is a full-time position. AIS benefits package includes health and dental insurance, vacation, sick and holiday benefits.
