Job summary

BIG CATCH SEAFOOD in Mount Holly, NJ is seeking a dependable warehouse team member to assist all aspects of shipping, receiving, fish cutting, and maintaining clean, organized warehousing areas. The role may be seasonal and offers both part-time and full-time options with early hours, Monday through Saturday requirements, and a fast-paced seafood environment.

You must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in cold/wet conditions; prior experience is a plus but training is provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing or seafood supply chain.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in cold/wet environments.
• Willing to train; experience is a plus.
• Ability to follow pick tickets and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist all aspects of shipping and receiving; log products and materials received.
• Prepare outgoing shipments according to pick tickets; weigh and record information.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse shelves and areas.
• Operate standard warehouse equipment such as an electronic scale and pallet jacks.
• Assist counter staff with fish cutting and retail customer support.
• Dispose of waste and maintain sanitation throughout the day.
• Support merchandising standards and safe food handling practices.
• Sanitize display equipment at start and end of shift.
• Cut fish safely according to customer specifications; follow safety procedures.

BIG CATCH SEAFOOD is search of a dependable person to join our team! We will consider a seasonal position! Experience is a plus, but we will train the right person!

Hours are between Monday - Friday 4am - 12pm. Hours can be flexible! Part-time or full-time! Saturdays are a MUST.

Summary:

Responsible for assisting all aspects of the warehouse, shipping and receiving tasks, cutting and packing the fish, and completing warehouse maintenance by performing the following duties:

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Assists all aspects of shipping and receiving by logging in products and material received as well as preparing outgoing shipments.*
2. Prepares customer shipments accurately according to pick tickets by lifting, packaging, weighing, and recording pertinent shipping information on pick ticket for internal use.*
3. Maintains warehouse shelves and areas in a clean and organized manner.*
4. Operates standard warehouse equipment such as electronic scale.*
5. Assists counter staff which includes fish cutting and retail customer assistance.*
6. Responsible to take waste and garbage to the dumpster as needed throughout the day and at the end of the work day.*
7. Maintains appropriate portion control and merchandising standards when needed.*
8. Maintains proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.*
9. Sanitizes the display equipment at the beginning and end of each work day.*
10. Responsible for cutting fish in a safe and efficient manner to customer specifications.*
11. Adheres to safety procedures within warehouse at all times.*
12. Performs other related duties as assigned.
