Job summary

QUICK USA in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Fish Butcher to join our cold storage and tuna processing team. You will dehead, eviscerate, break down tuna, and prepare products for ecommerce, along with prep, packaging, and inventory support.

This is a full-time early-morning role requiring physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Schedule is approximately 40 hours per week, Monday–Thursday 3:00 AM–12:00 PM and Friday 2:00 AM–11:00 AM.

Qualifications

[ Position ]

Fish Butcher

[ Summary ]

We are looking for hardworking and dedicated individuals to assist with tuna processing, packing, and overall warehouse operations. Whether you are an experienced butcher or a motivated beginner willing to learn and lift heavy items, we welcome you.

[ Essential Duties ]

• Butcher Role:

  • Process whole tuna (deheading and eviscerating).

  • Break down tuna into quarter sections and trim finely for quality presentation.

  • Further process and package tuna specifically for E-commerce sales.

• Support & Prep Role:

  • Assist butchers with prep work and handling tuna after deheading.

  • Perform trimming tasks tailored to your aptitude.

  • Pack processed tuna and prepare inventory/supplies for the next day.

• General Operations:

  • Work inside cold storage units (handling approximately 40 refrigerated items).

  • Lift and move heavy tuna (up to 70 lbs).

[ Working Hours / Working style ]

• Schedule: Full-time (Approx. 40 hours per week)

  • Monday – Thursday: ~3:00AM-12:00 PM

  • Friday: ~2:00AM – 11:00 AM
