You will serve as a Fish and Wildlife Biologist within the Department of the Interior, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 8, Southern Nevada Fish & Wildlife Office, Las Vegas, NV.

Major Duties

Some of the major duties you will perform include but are not limited to the following: Conduct Endangered Species Act section 7 consultation with Federal agencies on a variety of projects, primarily renewable energy. Conduct environmental reviews including National Environmental Policy Act reviews with other Federal agencies for a variety of projects, primarily renewable energy. Review project survey and environmental reports. Provide technical support to internal and external partners on project design and interpretation of site‐specific projects. Identify resource needs and recommendations for ESA-listed species relative to inter‑agency project planning. Produce maps and other products for project evaluations.
