Job summary

Compass Group USA, in partnership with Levy Restaurants, is hiring a part-time, event-based team member for Milwaukee venues (FISERV Forum, Bucks, Marquette). The union position pays $23.00 per hour.

You will provide friendly service, learn menu offerings, manage setup and breakdown, and uphold safety and sanitation guidelines while working as part of a high-energy team.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Lifts and transports up to 40 lbs.
• Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends and cleans to maintain service area
• Walks and stands during entire shift
• Possible job hazards include, but are not limited to; slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts and strains
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications to do so
• Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests and teammates by speaking and comprehending English

Responsibilities

• Helps fellow team members whenever necessary
• Always on time and ready to perform required duties

Major Areas of Responsibility

Service

• Completes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
• Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing
• Responds to guest needs and requests
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines
• Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests

Controls

• Must be ServSafe certified
