As a Fiscal Technician, you will attend to a wide-range of responsibilities such as analyzing and interpreting accounting records and methods and inputting a variety of accounting transactions into the computer accounting program. Work involves preparing invoices, ensuring provider services are reimbursed accurately and reflect the budgeted contract amounts as well as inputting payroll transactions and associated allocations for reimbursement. You will have the opportunity to assist the Fiscal Officer with completing the quarterly and annual reports for Behavior Health Intellectual Disabilities and Early Intervention and with the closing of accounts on a monthly and annual basis.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:-One year as a Fiscal Assistant or-Three years of work involving the maintenance of fiscal or financial records, including one year of responsible work which involves the application of accounting or fiscal principles and practices; and graduation from high school; or-One year of experience in maintaining and reviewing fiscal records and an associate degree in accounting or business administration; or-Any equivalent combination of experience and training.Other Requirements:-You must meet the PA residency requirement.-You must be able to perform essential job functions.
-You must pass a background investigation.-A conditional offer of employment will require a drug screening.-This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
