Job summary

Saddleback Valley Unified School District is seeking a Fiscal Technician to support financial, budgetary, and accounting functions in a 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 8 hrs/day, 5 days/week setting. Primary duties include maintaining financial records, producing reconciliations, and assisting with reporting efforts for state, federal, and local programs.

The role requires 1–2 years of related experience and advanced Excel skills, plus a CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of financial, budget, or accounting support experience.
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel proficiency needed.
• Driver's License CA required.

Pay Range: $6289.60 - $7643.01 Monthly

Add'l Salary Info: Range 42, External candidates start at Steps A-C based on verified previous experience. Current, regular employee placed at the lowest step of new range which provides a raise of approx. 5%, within constraints of the salary schedule.
