The Fiscal Officer serves as a trusted advisor to Extension leadership and oversees financial operations involving state appropriations, federal funding, grants and contracts, county funding partnerships, gifts, and joint programs with external partners. In addition, the position provides statewide leadership and oversight for risk management matters related to Extension programs, activities, events, and offices throughout Nevada, helping ensure organizational compliance, accountability, and responsible management practices.
As the Fiscal Officer, you will:

As Fiscal Officer, you will play a critical role in supporting programs that serve youth, families, agriculture, horticulture, natural resources, community development, and workforce initiatives statewide.

The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, this is subject to change based on organizational needs.
