GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
The Workforce Fiscal Analyst supports the financial operations of Gesher’s workforce development programs, including Michigan Works! career centers and related WIOA-funded initiatives. This position is responsible for tracking grant expenditures, preparing budgets and forecasts, processing invoices, and ensuring fiscal compliance with federal, state, and funder requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and comfort working within complex multi-funder environments.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:Two years of college in finance and/or business required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Other:Three years of experience with computer word processing, spreadsheet, and accounting database software required. Proficiency using Microsoft Office. Strong skills in standards development, quality management, problem solving, process improvement, cost accounting, statistical analysis, financial planning, and requirements analysis. Interpersonal skills sufficient to communicate with participants, public, and staff. Composition skills sufficient to prepare required reports and paperwork.
