Nelnet is seeking candidates for a collection-focused role in Lincoln, NE area. The position involves contacting borrowers by phone, mail, and email to arrange payment plans and address delinquencies. Pay starts at $15.75/hour with potential commission up to $1,250 per month; schedule is Monday–Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. CST.

Collect severely delinquent student loans in order to protect Nelnet assets. Initiate manual outbound collection attempts. Initiate a small percentage of incoming calls. Some auto-dialer work will be required.

Brownsville, TX (within a 60 mile radius)

High school degree or equivalent required.
2 year customer service, collection and general work experience preferred.
