Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Education, or related field.
• Three years experience actively advising and counseling adults and young adults in a secondary or post secondary academic setting.
• Higher education experience preferred.
• Valid state driver's license.
• Must pass background check with NO felonies.

Responsibilities

• Conducts campus tours for prospective students and families.
• Assists as a Proctor in accuplacer testing for students.
• Assesses the student's development stage and advises on realistic goals for academic and career progress.
• Develops educational plans and guides for course planning and registration.
• Maintains confidential student records and updates the information system.
• Provides information and guidance on graduation requirements, majors, and transfer credits.
