Job summary

Daemen University is seeking an Admissions Counselor to represent the university to prospective students and organizations, and to increase inquiries and convert applications into enrolled students.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, excellent customer service, and ability to travel for recruitment events. The counselor will engage with students via phone, email, and in-person sessions, and work toward enrollment goals under supervision.

Qualifications

• Minimum earned Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Represent Daemen University to prospective students and organizations to increase inquiries and convert applications.
• Develop recruitment strategies through events, outreach, and communications to reach prospective students.
• Review applications and make enrollment decisions based on admission standards for first-year, transfer, and graduate candidates.
• Coordinate information sessions, campus events, and outreach activities with the Director’s guidance.
