Job summary

In-person instruction across 100–300 level 1-unit courses supports students on academic notice with a strengths-based, holistic approach.

You will work with UNIV Peer Coaches and faculty mentors; minimum qualifications include a master's degree and experience guiding first-year students through college transition.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Experience working with students to facilitate their transition from high school to college.
• Experience working holistically with first-year students on academic notice.
• California State University policy restricts out-of-state employment; working in California is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach ARC sections (100/200/300-level) for Fall 2026.
• In-person instruction with UNIV Peer Coach support and faculty mentorship.
• Support students in developing and implementing a personal plan to improve academic standing.
