The Department of First-Year & University Programs within the Office of Undergraduate Studies at California State University San Marcos accepts applications on an on-going basis for our pool of part-time lecturers. Teaching responsibilities within FY&UP include a variable unit first-year seminars, 1-unit and 3-unit academic resiliency/success courses, and 1-unit second-year seminars, all of which aim to (1) support students in their transition to the academic and social demands of college and (2) support students in the psycho-social development of self and community including the development of personal values and goals for college and career success. Candidates should have experience working directly with students.

The anticipated hiring range is generally at or near the minimum of the appropriate range, commensurate with education and experience.
