Job summary

Aspire Early Learning Academy in Lexington is seeking a patient, compassionate teacher for the First Steps 4K Lead Teacher role. You will lead developmentally appropriate activities to promote healthy physical, social, and emotional development in young students.

Responsibilities include creating weekly lesson plans, adhering to First Steps 4K guidelines, communicating with families, and ensuring a safe classroom.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree in early childhood or related field.
• Pass a Child Abuse and Neglect Registry background check.
• Ability to use a variety of computer applications to complete tasks.

The First Steps 4K Lead Teacher will lead developmentally appropriate activities that promote healthy physical, social, and emotional development in students.

Requirements

• Able to pass a Child Abuse and Neglect Registry background check
• Ability to use a variety of computer applications to complete tasks

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in early childhood or related field
• CPR and First Aid Certification
• Experience working in a play‑based environment
• Ability to work creatively and flexibly
