Job summary

Primrose School of Fort Mill is seeking a patient and compassionate teacher to support young children in a First Steps 4K classroom. The Instructional Assistant works with the Lead Teacher to provide age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, and emotional development.

The role requires adherence to 4K guidelines, completion of required trainings, and a focus on safety and respectful learning environments in a school setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Two years of documented experience working with children under the age of five.
• Completion of the Early Childhood Education Credential (EDC 101) or willingness to obtain by January 2027.
• Able to pass a Child Abuse and Neglect Registry background check.
• Two-year degree with experience and training in early childhood education (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid Certification (preferred).
• Experience in a play-based environment (preferred).
