Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United States is hiring a First Shift Yard Driver NON-DOT to oversee yard operations, move equipment between yards and dock doors, and ensure safe, on-time loading and unloading. The role emphasizes communication with operations and maintaining equipment condition. Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide detailed communication both verbally and written in English.
• Minimum of one year verifiable experience driving, switching or commercial tractor.

Responsibilities

• Oversee movement of equipment between yard locations and dock doors.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and report safety concerns to supervision.
• Recharge on-site vehicles and document yard locations and equipment condition.
• Collaborate with Operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Move trailers and equipment to ensure efficient loading/unloading.
• Prepare and maintain logs and records as required by policies.
