Monti, Inc. is seeking a Robot Operator to set up, operate, and maintain robotic equipment in a manufacturing environment in Greenwood, SC. The role involves loading fixtures and components, programming instructions, quality inspections, and performing adjustments during runs.

Successful candidates will have basic computer skills, blueprint reading ability, organizational focus, and the stamina for 8-10 hour shifts with possible overtime. Forklift certification is preferred.

Formación

• Grinds and sands to clean parts.
• Uses MIG welder to tack weld.
• Prepares parts for outside services.
• Cleans nozzles and tips.
• Operates robots safely.
• Maintains neat, clean workstation per 6S standards.
• Operates overhead crane.
• Maintains 6S standards in all work stations.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Description

Job Summary:

The Robot Operator will set up, operate, and maintain the robot machine.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Loads fixtures; loads components into fixtures.
• Enters preprogrammed instructions that a robot uses to manufacture a product or component to ensure that the robot produces products to exact specifications.
• Inspects the output from the robot to ensure quality.
• Makes adjustments during a production run if necessary.
• Installs different components depending on the specifications for each production run.
• Grinds and sands to clean parts.
• Uses MIG welder to tack weld.
• Prepares parts for outside services.
• Cleans nozzles and tips.
• Operates robots in a safe manner.
• Maintains neat, clean workstation per 6S standards.
• Operates overhead crane.
• Maintains 6S (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain, safety) standards in all work stations.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift certification.

Physical Requirements:

• Uncontrolled environmental conditions: noise, dust, dirt, and mobile equipment.
• Routine, repetitive lifting up to 35 lbs., occasional, heavy lifting, and pushing / pulling 10 lbs. regularly, 1 to 10 hours per day.
• Any combination of standing, bending, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, feeling, and walking 8 to 10 hours per day.
• Ability to work up to 8-10 hour shifts and overtime as required by the work.
• Use of all limbs, dexterous and steady use of hands and arms for long periods of time.
• Simultaneous mental and muscular coordination, visual and audio awareness of surrounding area.
