Job summary

Viking Corp is seeking a Warehouse Attendant for 1st shift in Charlotte, NC. The role involves executing shipping, receiving, packing, and inventory control tasks, operating a forklift, and performing daily inspections. You will use RF technology to pick orders and verify accuracy, while following SOPs and PPE requirements.

The position requires basic arithmetic, keypad skills, and a minimum of six months in a warehouse setting, with experience in JDE and related warehouse systems valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months in a warehouse or material handler position.
• Basic keypad and/or keyboard skills.
• RF technology experience in bar coding environment is helpful.
• 1 year working in a multitask environment under time constraints.
• Basic arithmetic skills using whole numbers and decimals.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive warehousing tasks tied to shipping, receiving, will-call, inventory control and material handling.
• Operate forklift to pick orders or receive stock; complete lift equipment inspections.
• Use RF/barcode to pick orders by bin location or part number.
• Utilize JDE system for shipping and receiving inquiries; ensure materials are packed correctly.
• Follow SOPs and use PPE as required; provide excellent customer service.
