Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Warehouse Specialist for Quality Control on the 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Mon-Fri) in Utah. The role involves various warehousing tasks aligned with the storage plan and ensuring accuracy of received and stored materials.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 6–12 months experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a Security Clearance. Responsibilities cover inventory, damage reporting, and material preparation for shipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Six to twelve months job related experience and/or training is required.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
• Ability to perform work in a safe manner to prevent loss or damage of equipment.
• Customer-oriented with ability to courteously and effectively work through difficult situations.
• Position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
• Rearrange and take inventory of stored materials, examines stored materials and reports deterioration and damage.
• Removes material from storage and prepares it for shipment.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties.
• Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents, notes and reports discrepancies and obvious damages; route materials to prescribed storage locations; stores, stacks or palletizes material in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
• May operate hand or power trucks in performing warehousing duties. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.
