Job summary

TFT Global Inc. in Brookville, OH is seeking a Team Leader to manage LOC employees and oversee daily production operations. You will supervise material handling, ensure safety standards, and drive on-time performance while maintaining quality metrics.

The role includes training team members on forklift operation, tracking KPIs, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives in a lean manufacturing environment. Valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's licence required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills.
• Criminal background check, drug screen, and post-offer pre-employment physical.
• Valid forklift license is preferred.
• Grade 12 education; college/university education or equivalent is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of LOC employees and participate in daily operations.
• Ensure targets, quality standards, and safety requirements are met.
• Oversee material handling activities including safe forklift use.
• Hands-on production work with outbound loading/unloading alongside team.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment and assist in maintenance needs.
• Monitor KPIs, provide feedback, and support performance improvements.
• Coach and mentor team on forklift operation and material handling procedures.
• Communicate between supervisors/management and team members.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, material flow, and waste reduction.
• Support lean manufacturing and 5S workplace organization.
