Job summary

Benjamin Steel Co. in Ohio is seeking a Processor to support warehouse operations, and to process material, operate equipment, and assist with loading and unloading trucks.

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a strong mechanical background, and the ability to read tapes, blueprints, and orders; lifting up to 50 lbs. This role emphasizes teamwork and safe, efficient material handling in a fast-paced steel warehouse.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required with strong mechanical background.
• Warehouse experience preferred to support material handling.
• Ability to read tapes, blueprints, micrometers and orders.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and adjust machinery and equipment for full utilization.
• Accurately process material to minimize waste and drops.
• Locate and identify stock accurately for orders.
• Process paperwork needed for material handling/Production Recording.
• Tag, band and package material for shipment.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Be helpful and courteous to all customers and employees.
• Perform warehouse functions when needed and when processing work is not available.
• Perform other duties as related or assigned for the benefit of the Company.
• Good attendance is an essential function of this job.
