Job summary

Aerotek in Riverside, CA is seeking a 1st Shift Forklift Operator (Stand-Up Reach) to safely move goods in a fast-paced warehouse. You will operate a Raymond stand-up reach forklift, perform put-aways, loading, picking, and staging, and handle case picking across pallets during an 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities include inventory tasks, RF system usage, and adherence to safety guidelines. The role offers a contract-to-hire path, onsite work, and may involve cross-training for additional picking

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Raymond stand-up reach forklift in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Ability to safely operate a stand-up reach forklift and follow all safety procedures.
• Capable of meeting medium-level physical exertion, including lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to learn and operate RF systems in a logistics environment.
• Basic math skills to verify counts and inventory.
• Basic reading skills to understand work instructions and paperwork.
• Willingness to cross-train in case picking and related tasks.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Raymond stand-up reach forklift to load, unload, pick, put away, and stage products.
• Perform put-aways, loading, picking, and staging accurately and efficiently.
• Case pick from multiple pallets, handling items up to 60 lbs over an 8-hour shift.
• Follow work instructions and safety guidelines to complete daily tasks.
• Support inventory records, cycle counts, and stock rotation.
• Learn RF systems and complete required documentation for tasks.
• Communicate issues to management and identify process improvements.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area and promote safety.
