Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Kansas City seeks a Manager, Supply Chain Site Operations to lead the warehouse’s daily activities, including order fulfillment, shipping/receiving and inventory control. You will drive safety, quality and productivity while coordinating with HR for staff development.

You will hire, train and evaluate staff, manage schedules, and ensure accurate timekeeping and equipment coordination, in a 1st shift role.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in supply chain, warehousing or distribution.
• 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Experience with MS Office and scanner equipment.
• Availability for flexible schedule and overtime.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational and personnel activities in the facility for safe, clean, efficient operation.
• Hire, train, develop and evaluate staff with HR collaboration.
• Maintain work schedules and attendance records.
• Ensure equipment utilization and maintenance coordination.
• Uphold 7S Workplace Organization and safety procedures.
• Manage stock levels and contract metric compliance.
• Drive productivity, quality and safety aligned with customer needs.
