Job summary

LaForce in Houston, TX is seeking a reliable Shipping & Receiving Technician to join our team. You will handle receiving, labeling, palletizing, and staging materials for upcoming jobs, and assist with shipping logistics, including UPS processing.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, forklift experience or willingness to be trained, and passing a drug screen, physical, and background check. A valid driver's license with clean record is also required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and check in a variety of items, including hardware, doors, frames, and specialty products.
• Label and separate hardware according to job-specific receiving sheets.
• Palletize, shrink wrap, and stage materials for upcoming jobs.
• Operate a forklift and handle shipping logistics, including UPS hardware processing.
• Re-key locks, cut and stamp keys.
• Manage returns, process pick lists and bill of ladings using our computer system.
• Coordinate the daily truck schedule and assist with occasional deliveries.
