Job summary

Anchor Fabrication is seeking a detail-oriented Shipping/Receiving associate to process incoming shipments, verify goods, and prepare outbound orders. You will utilize AS/400 and WMS to track inventory and ensure accurate documentation for loading trucks.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, ability to operate pallet jacks and order pickers, and a commitment to timely order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to write reports in English.
• Experience in shipping and receiving or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and procedures.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks and order pickers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory.
• Excellent organizational skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication with team members.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents.
• Run daily shipping Open Order Report and determine shipments to be made.
• Complete all shipping papers (BOLs, ASN generation) for loading authorization.
• Prepare and package outgoing shipments with proper labeling and documentation.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, order pickers) to load/unload goods.
• Use WMS and AS400 to track inventory and update records.
• Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately and efficiently.
• Receive orders and collaborate with team to ensure timely fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
