Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Monticello, IA is seeking a Loader for 1st shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm). You will check, shuttle, and move materials, load trucks, and ensure safe shipment of parts. Requires a high school diploma or GED and forklift operation experience, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Walk-ins welcome for the 11:00 am - 4:00 PM interview window. Pay ranges from $18 to $21 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 years experience in high production manufacturing environment.
• Be willing to cross-train and be promotable.
• Operate forklifts and other lifting equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Check, shuttle, move, and perform all essential functions of the Loader.
• Loading trucks and placing parts on trailers safely to prevent damage during shipment.
• Package, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and proper capacity.
• Package parts using crates and packing materials and weigh trucks as required.
• Monitor load quality and ensure job is completed as per standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and support continuous improvement in the area.
• Provide on-the-job direction to new shipping/warehouse staff.
