Job summary

Kraft Heinz in Mason, OH is hiring for a Sanitation 1 position on the 1st shift (6am-2pm, Tue-Sat). As an entry-level role, you will clean production equipment, floors, drains, and designated areas in compliance with GMP and food safety standards.

Starting pay is $25.40 per hour, with comprehensive training provided. You will learn to dismantle and reassemble basic equipment for cleaning, handle cleaning chemicals safely, operate sanitation tools, and maintain sanitation logs.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail essential for sanitation tasks.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment tear-down/assembly.
• Safety-minded and compliant with GMP and SDS guidelines.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced, collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing of production equipment, floors, drains and walls.
• Dismantle and reassemble basic equipment for cleaning.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely in accordance with SDS.
• Operate sanitation equipment such as hoses, foaming units and scrubbers.
• Complete sanitation logs and documentation for audits.
• Identify and report potential safety or quality concerns.
