Job summary

Schnellecke Logistics is seeking a Quality Team Lead to coordinate quality and material processing activities in our Alabama operation. You will lead daily QC tasks, promote safety, and drive continuous improvement with Kaizen initiatives.

You will ensure compliance with 5S standards, maintain accurate records, and support inventory and production schedules while coaching teammates toward high standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous experience in quality, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics operations preferred.
• Leadership or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with data entry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members in the execution of daily quality and material processing activities
• Ensure timely, accurate, and efficient processing of materials within the assigned operational area
• Promote and enforce compliance with safety policies, OSHA regulations, and company procedures
• Monitor quality standards and ensure products and processes meet customer requirements
• Train, coach, and support associates on standard work instructions and operational procedures
• Identify, document, and report quality concerns, material discrepancies, damages, or process deviations
• Support root cause analysis and corrective action activities to prevent recurring issues
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, filing systems, and operational reports
• Ensure compliance with 5S standards and maintain an organized work environment
• Encourage employee participation in continuous improvement and Kaizen initiatives
• Support inventory audits and year-end inventory activities as required
• Coordinate material flow activities to support production schedules and operational requirements
• Follow emergency response procedures and support workplace safety initiatives
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support business needs
