Job summary

Conval is a leader in engineering, marketing, and manufacturing of Severe Service Industrial Valves. We are seeking an Inspector to perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections on manufactured parts, ensuring conformance to drawings and specifications.

The role requires experience in a manufacturing setting and familiarity with gauges, CMMs, and relevant inspection methods. Conval offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a diverse industrial

Qualifications

Basic math skills including fractions and decimals.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
Knowledge of database or manufacturing software preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred.
Experience using gauges (micrometers, calipers, height stands).
Prior inspection experience required.
CMM experience preferred.
NDT penetrant testing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Performs first piece, in-process, and final dimensional inspections on manufactured parts and components.
Performs receiving inspection activities for purchased parts, components, materials, and services.
Performs Commercial Dedication inspections.
Records inspection results.
Documents non-conformance to drawings or specifications.
