Job summary

NOVO Health Services is seeking a First Shift Production Supervisor to lead frontline production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery in a healthcare linen environment. You will supervise 20–60 hourly associates, including temps, and drive a strong safety culture while meeting plant objectives.

The role is hands-on, on the floor, with a focus on developing people, optimizing labor, and maintaining high performance in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a production supervision or industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading hourly teams and supporting employee development.
• Knowledge of production processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and cost goals.
• Supervise, coach, and develop production associates to promote engagement and teamwork.
• Enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with OSHA and Novo standards.
• Maintain a strong safety-first culture and address hazards and unsafe behaviors.
• Monitor production schedules and optimize labor utilization and workflow efficiency.
• Partner with Maintenance, Quality, and Plant Leadership to address issues and improve performance.
• Support onboarding, training, and performance management of production staff.
