Job summary

Crane Co. in Marion, North Carolina, is seeking a Production Operator for 1st shift to support our large elbows production line. You will cut liners, relax, flare, and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications.

You will handle tooling setup, operate band-saw and flaring equipment, and perform in-process inspections using calipers and micrometers. The role requires basic blueprint reading, ability to lift up to 50 lbs with team assistance as needed, and adherence to safety and quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift parts weighing up to 50 lbs; team lift for heavier items.
• Basic blueprint reading and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Cut to length liner with band-saw and assemble into elbow housing.
• Relax liner, flare with flaring machines, and cool on the cold head.
• Perform in-process inspection using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Maintain clean, orderly work area and report production on work orders.
