Job summary

AAF International in Smithfield, NC is seeking a Production Line Lead on the Helios line, 1st shift, M-Th 5:00am-3:30pm. The role coordinates daily production activities, ensures safety, quality, and efficiency, and supervises line staff.

Responsibilities include loading chipboard, tracking production numbers, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. Will collaborate with management to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to use a tape measure accurately.
• Able to operate a computer and use BPCS to order materials and return stock.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily production activities of assigned staff.
• Load rolls of chipboard on machine to ensure continuous supply of material.
• Keep accurate records of hourly production numbers and scrap.
• Inspect filters and filter packaging; make corrections as necessary.
• Set up line for the filter manufacturing.
• Assist with providing raw materials to the production line to ensure timely manufacturing.
