Job summary

QPS Employment Group has a great opportunity for a Production Assistant in Franksville, WI. This is a potential to hire position on 1st shift, with hourly wage of $24.00–$25.00.

Responsibilities include creating and verifying travelers, inventory cycle counts, and ERP data entry as part of a collaborative production team. The role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and basic MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings is a plus.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Experience with inventory and ERP systems is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

Responsibilities

• Create and verify job travelers with accurate information, including bill of materials, routings, specifications, and special instructions.
• Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Quality Control to coordinate production.
• Enter production data into the ERP system and generate reports as needed.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Identify and elevate production-related issues for resolution.
• Participate in continuous improvement to streamline processes.
