Job summary

Amcor is seeking a production teammate in Lawrence, KS to support daily manufacturing and packaging operations on the day shift (7:00 am – 3:30 pm). You will help ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency by assisting with production, packaging and quality checks across the facility.

This role emphasizes safety, adherence to GMP/HACCP, and teamwork as the company provides opportunities to learn, grow and develop skills while contributing to everyday operations.

Responsibilities

• Help ensure customer satisfaction and plant efficiency by supporting production and packaging needs throughout the facility.
• Inspect and package plastic products of good quality.
• Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
• Safely utilize basic tools before placing boxes on a pallet.
• Properly complete all required paperwork.
• Ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs.
• Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
• Maintain plant cleanliness through daily work-area cleaning and proper scrap placement.
• Perform additional job duties as required by leadership efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures.
• Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
