Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. presents an opportunity for a Maintenance Mechanic on the first shift at a well-established personal care products manufacturer in New Jersey.

The role centers on repairing and maintaining production equipment and supporting warehouse operations. Responsibilities include timely work-order responses, preventive maintenance tasks, tool/inventory control, and collaboration with the Foreman to ensure safety, GMP compliance, and smooth production flows.

Qualifications

• Necessary Experience: High School or equivalent
• 5 years experience in a manufacturing environment
• Machine Operations
• Proficient Mechanical Experience
• Electrical Experience

Responsibilities

• Maintains Production and Facility equipment
• Prompt and effective response to work orders (checklist & reports)
• Maintains and checks tool and material inventory
• Communicates to Foreman and/or Lead if additional supplies are required
• Conducts regular visual inspections of facility and equipment to determine repairs and communicates potential issues
• Performs preventive maintenance (cleaning, lubricating, greasing, oiling) to ensure optimum operation
