Job summary

Positronic Industries in Springfield, MO is seeking a Parts Finisher ABC to clean and prepare metal parts for production and recycling. You will operate cleaning systems, monitor solutions, ensure accurate part counts, and maintain a safe, orderly work area in a high‑volume environment.

First shift, Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with emphasis on safety and quality. A strong team mindset, attention to detail, and ability to follow procedures are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Must pass appropriate testing to advance in the ABC program.

Responsibilities

• Operate centrifuges and the Durr Echo Cleaning System to clean and dry parts.
• Monitor cleaning solution levels and maintain correct mixture consistency.
• Accurately count parts for inventory and quality tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, machinery, and floors.
• Handle metal parts safely and efficiently using appropriate PPE.
• Uphold Positronic’s standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
• Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
• Collaborate with the EHS department to meet regulatory requirements (OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA).
• Work with Quality to ensure AS9100 certification standards compliance.

Summary

The Parts Finisher ABC is responsible for cleaning metal parts using specialized equipment and solutions to support production and recycling efforts. This role ensures safe, efficient handling of parts, solution maintenance, and work area cleanliness while contributing to overall production flow.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate centrifuges and the Durr Echo Cleaning System to clean and dry parts.
• Monitor cleaning solution levels and maintain correct mixture consistency.
• Accurately count parts for inventory and quality tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, machinery, and floors.
• Handle metal parts safely and efficiently using appropriate PPE.
• Uphold Positronic’s standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
• Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
• Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
• Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 months of related experience or training.
• Must pass appropriate testing to advance in the ABC program.

Physical

• Regular standing, walking, bending, and reaching overhead.
• May lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in a production environment with constant exposure to loud noise, and equipment. Frequent exposed to high vehicle traffic areas and cleaning chemicals. PPE such as safety glasses and gloves are required as necessary.

Shift: First Shift (Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm)
