Responsibilities

• Grind, file, or sand metal surfaces to specified finish.
• Detect and address surface defects (dents, scratches, breaks).
• Remove dents with hammer and dolly block and fill uneven areas.
• Polish surfaces with powered wheel or belt as needed.
• Inspect finished parts with gauges per specs and notes.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
• Operate safety equipment and comply with plant procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
