Job summary

Siemens in Wendell, NC is seeking a Mechanical Assembler Level I for the GIS Production Team on the 1st Shift. You will build and assemble Low and Medium Voltage electrical distribution equipment such as switchgear, switchboards and breakers.

Shift hours are 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with an hourly rate of $19.00. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, have basic English proficiency, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install mechanical components including steel parts.
• Record job transactions, read BOMs, follow layouts and assembly drawings.
• Use measuring tools and torque wrenches to specified values.
• Safely operate standard hand and power tools and maintain a clean workspace.
