Job summary

Plymouth, MI-based Maintenance Technician role supporting production and facility operations. You will troubleshoot, repair, install and maintain production equipment while upholding safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include preventive and corrective maintenance, interpreting schematics, responding to breakdowns, operating forklifts, maintaining parts inventory, and supporting mold changes and basic trades. Overtime is available.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
2+ years in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems and troubleshooting.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Lift up to 75 lbs and work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and facility systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, manuals and work orders.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and support emergency repairs.
Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.
Maintain inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
Assist with mold changes and facility maintenance projects.
Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, and machining tasks as needed.
Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards.
