First Shift Maintenance Mechanic (Finance)

Position Summary:

Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, fixtures, and building repairs in the distribution center. Maintain and repair all lift trucks and mobile equipment. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Desired Previous Job Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years experience in plumbing, blueprint reading, general building maintenance, hydraulic, and electrical work
  • 4 years in forklift repair or equivalent experience

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions, and manuals
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Mathematical proficiency including probability, statistics, geometry, and trigonometry
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret various instructions and work with urgency
  • Availability to work weekends, nights, overtime, and holidays
  • Familiarity with industry terms and distribution center processes
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to operate equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and lift equipment
  • Valid driver's license required

  • Maintain and repair carts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on lift trucks
  • Assist with equipment process parameters and data entry into CMMS
  • Maintain inventory of parts and tools
  • Operate diagnostics equipment and troubleshoot failures
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment and workstations
  • Repair hydraulic systems, air compressors, fire systems
  • Weld, cut, and repair structures and devices
  • Maintain building systems including electrical and plumbing
