Job summary

BLOOM SEARCH is seeking a 1st Shift Maintenance Manager in Momence, IL to lead the maintenance team and ensure safe, efficient production. The role supervises maintenance staff, drives equipment reliability, and supports lean manufacturing initiatives.

Candidate should have 5+ years of leadership in food manufacturing, strong mechanical/electrical skills, and experience with preventive maintenance systems. Full-time with benefits including health/dental/vision and 401k match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience with preventative maintenance systems.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to mentor and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor Maintenance department personnel.
• Establish positive, respectful, and supportive relationships with team members.
• Maintain property, plant, and equipment to support safe production and performance.
• Develop and implement process controls to improve equipment performance.
• Provide technical leadership in support of lean manufacturing objectives.
