Job summary

Gil-Mar Manufacturing is seeking a First Shift Machine Operator in Canton, MI. You will operate CNCs, coin presses and Dial machines, lifting up to 50 lbs and standing 10 hours per shift. Training others and maintaining production standards are key duties.

Starting pay is $17.00 per hour, with Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM to 4:15 PM shifts and overtime opportunities on Fridays and Saturdays. Joining the team offers growth and safety in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Understanding of tool wear is required.
• Ability to perform tool changes and offsets.
• Experience with automation, robots, and alarms is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Operate various machines, such as CNC's, Coin Presses and Dial's.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Ability to stand for 10 hour shifts.
• Train other employees on equipment when necessary.
• Maintain production standards.
• Maintain a clean work area.
