Job summary

Owens Corning in Stokesdale, NC is seeking a Machine Operator to support production and safely operate the machine center. You will set up equipment, monitor quality, and maintain daily production targets while following proper procedures.

The role offers a competitive hourly pay of $20.60 plus benefits, including health/dental/vision, a 401(k), and generous paid time off. Training and advancement opportunities are available within OC.

Qualifications

• Completion of 9th grade is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
• Must work well with others and have good leadership ability.
• Knowledge of the grades of all profiles and proper unitizing.
• Capable of reading a tape measure, calipers and spec.

Responsibilities

• Observe all safety rules and ensure crew works safely at all times.
• Set-Up Machine in a timely fashion and follow proper setup procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily paperwork and process orders from worksheets.
• Achieve production goals and quality checks for units daily.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and minimize downtime.
• Coordinate with material handlers and train crew members as needed.
