Job summary

Owens Corning in Stokesdale, NC is seeking a Machine Operator to manufacture accurate, high-quality materials for shipment. The role requires following safety rules, setting up and operating the machine, and maintaining production targets.

You will read drawings and specs, keep daily records, and work with a team to ensure timely delivery and quality. The position is on-site with standard shifts and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication skills (oral and written).
• Must work well with others and show leadership ability.
• Knowledge of grades of profiles and proper unitizing.
• Capable of reading a tape measure, calipers and specs.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions and learn machine functions.

Responsibilities

• Machine accurate and quality materials for shipment.
• Observe all safety rules and ensure crew works safely.
• Set-Up Machine in a timely fashion and ensure clearance of parts.
• Maintain daily paperwork and process orders on worksheets.
• Achieve quality of work and production target (6300 pcs daily).
• Coordinate with material handlers and other crew members.
• Demonstrate ability to delegate tasks and train others.
