Job summary

Warehouse Specialists, Inc. is hiring a 1st shift Chemical Lift Truck Operator in Carson, CA to ensure safe and efficient material handling in support of operations. The role reports to the facility manager and may require weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Reliable transportation to report to scheduled shift.
• Basic math, reading and writing skills for demonstrated accuracy in counting and completing paperwork.
• Capacity to use RF Scanners for managing inventory.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a lift truck to unload trailers, containers, rail cars and place product in storage locations.
• Prepare and handle HAZMAT for shipment per regulations.
• Safely operate lift truck while picking orders to load onto trailers, containers, and railcars.
• Utilize material handling technology to maximize efficiency and maintain inventory accuracy.
