Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking an Avionics Installer IV for a first shift in Appleton. The role leads technicians during avionics installations, fabricates wiring, and supports functional testing of electrical systems per engineering drawings.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED with 2–4 years in avionics or aviation electronics, strong blueprint and schematic interpretation, and the ability to train others.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and aviation electronics training or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Two to four years of avionics/electronic field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides work direction to technicians and ensures tasks are completed on time.
• Installs/modifies/fabricates wiring and electrical components per blueprints and drawings.
• Trains team members and contributes to development of techniques.
• Assists Engineering in resolving problems per engineering direction.
• Maintains required logs and records.
• Ensures work meets regulatory requirements and customer specs; enforces safety programs.
• Checks for defects and ensures assembly quality before final inspection.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
